Ramesh Sharma comes with 27+ years of Finance, Operations, Biz Transformation, IT & Technology experience, with two large growing & global organizations, currently working with Adani, as Group CIO, and worked ~20 years with GE in multiple roles including, 13+ years of global leadership roles in Shared Services & Strategy space.
He has deep understanding of business process management tools and techniques and has the ability to design and execute transformational initiatives. He believes in adopting best in context approach by adapting global best practices to suit India requirements.
Prior to this, Ramesh was with GE, heading Global Business Services for F&A, as Service Delivery Leader, where, he transformed the operations from Cluster to CoE Model and implemented the Hub & Spoke strategy, which helped expand the service delivery capabilities across multi geographies.
Previously, Ramesh Worked with Genpact as Global Operations leader for one of the large Global clients with interest in employee services across various geographies. He also setup F&A Practice for Genpact at various locations in eastern Europe & Northern India and served as F&A Practice leader. During his early career at GE, Ramesh has worked as F&A Controller & Biz. Analyst as well as FP&A Leader for various Indian, European & US Businesses.
Ramesh is a Graduate from Delhi University & has successfully completed a 2 year Financial management program at GE with country honours. He has attended many trainings to build F&A & leadership skills including Advance Financial management courses in Risk, Biz. Analysis, Growth, acquisition, commercial leadership etc.
Ramesh is Quality Certified & is also a Certified Controllership Trainer.
